Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store or request our latest catalogue. Add any items that you wish to buy to your shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for the few personal details that we need to be able to complete the order.

Immediately upon successful payment you will receive an automated acknowledgement of receipt from our systems. Please print and retain a copy of this in a safe place for your future reference. Your unique order reference number will be on this receipt and should be used for any enquiries that you may wish to direct to Spark of Inspiraton.

Credit card payments can now be taken online, by mail-order and by telephone.

We are set up online to accept most major credit card payments including Visa and Mastercard. As we recognise that many of our customers already hold accounts with third party payment service providers, in addition, we give you the option of paying via the third party payment service providers: Nochex and Paypal. We are also more than happy to accept UK Bankers cheques made payable to "Spark of Inspiration" and postal orders. Items are dispatched as soon as possible, once payments have cleared. If an item is out of stock we will contact you to see if you would like us to backorder it for you. Remember - you could save on P&P charges if your order is more than £75 - how about ordering via your school or amongst a group of friends.

When an automated confirmation of order is received by you, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term in case of a mistake in pricing. While we try and ensure that all prices on our Web site are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel your order prior to its dispatch and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund. Where goods have already been shipped however, you will understand that carriage costs may be incurred.

Shipping And Handling Please always quote your full postcode when ordering and ensure that you have provided a day time delivery address as all parcels dispatched by Spark of Inspiration will need to be signed for upon delivery. A daytime contact number would be very much appreciated.

Parcels are despatched in the UK both by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery and by DHL Home Service unless otherwise arranged in advance. Within Mainland UK, for standard sized parcels, delivery will be charged at the flat rate of £4.95 per order. Surcharges may apply to bulky items but any such surcharges will be clearly displayed in the product description. When you place an order for more than £75 (excl, P&P and VAT) we'll even reduce your bill by £4.95. (so our standard rate of delivery is, in effect FREE but in an effort to remain fair to all of our customers, you don't miss out on a discount just because you do not fall within our standard rate delivery specification). Please note that we must calculate the VAT charges after P&P have been incurred as P&P is classified as an additional service and is therefore subject to VAT.

If your school, nursery or charity organisation is a member of our Fundraising Affiliate Scheme and has an active Fundraising Affiliate Code, you are more than welcome to print out multiple order forms and submit joint orders via your organisation. Joint orders from Fundraising Affiliate Members will be processed and packaged individually but dispatched jointly to the affiliate organisation. Where the sum of joint orders (excl. P&P and VAT) is in excess of £75 you will also benefit from a £4.95 reduction, representing a FREE standard rate delivery discount!!

Delivery Schedule Our aim is to process and dispatch all orders upon receipt. At busy times, this may not always be possible, however, all orders will be processed within 5 working days and dispatched within 14 business days. If this is not possible (for example, if an item is out of stock) you will be notified within 5 working days to inform you of any potential delays.
Please note however, we are subject to third party delivery services and therefore do not accept any liability in the event that an item, dispatched in due course by us, does not arrive with you as a result of any such third party. If your item does not arrive with you promptly, please contact us so that we can trace the delivery for you.

Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will place a back order for you. You will always be emailed to let you know when the item can be expected and will of course have the option of cancelling your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges All orders will be subject to U.K. VAT rules and regulations. Where goods and services purchased are subject to VAT, VAT will be added to your order and a VAT invoice issued with the delivered items. The standard rate of VAT in the U.K. is currently 17.5%.

P&P is deemed an additional service and as such is subject to VAT charges if the goods purchased are vatable. In circumstances where multiple items are purchased with differing VAT rates, VAT for P&P will be charged at 17.5% unless all items purchased fall below this VAT rate, in which case, VAT will be charged upon the item with the highest VAT rate. No VAT will be charged on P&P where the goods purchased are not subject to VAT (i.e., books).

Credit Card Security Spark of Inspiration actively undertake measures to prevent fraud from taking place on this site. As such, during the transaction process you will be prompted through the use of CVV and other security measures to verify that you are the valid card holder.

All purchases from Spark of Inspiration will appear on your statement as Spark of Inspiration unless you have chosen to use one of the alternative payment methods offered by on of our third party payment service provider (as detailed below).
